Integrate Simple Exercise into Your Home-Based Cognitive Routine with Dr. Sandison’s Live Workshop

Join us Thursday, January 11, for an exclusive workshop on activities and exercises for brain health with Dr. Heather Sandison, the visionary founder of Marama.

Located in San Diego, California, Marama is the world’s first residential memory care facility dedicated to the goal of returning patients home to independence.

Dr Heather Sandison

This revolutionary approach to memory care is based around the dementia protocol of Dr. Dale Bredesen. Backed by clinical research and studies published in the journal Alzheimer’s, the Bredesen Protocol has become a beacon of hope for those who struggle with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other forms of cognitive decline.

Exercise for brain health is nothing new – it’s recognized in recent years by mainstream medicine for its ability to keep key biomarkers under control. But thanks to the pioneering work of Dr. Sandison, it’s clinically shown to reduce the risk of cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia!

Every patient in Marama participates in daily brain-boosting activities and exercise, and the results Dr. Sandison and her team are seeing speak for themselves – cognition scores improving, previously non-verbal patients engaging with their friends and family once again… and of course, every other biomarker such as A1C and blood pressure falling into line as well!

To be clear, under the care of Dr. Sandison, these exercises are an important piece in the protocol demonstrating the astounding ability to reverse cognitive decline in some patients.

But implementing an exercise routine at home poses its own set of challenges and risks!

Which is why this workshop is so important. Dr. Sandison will draw upon her clinical experience to guide you on how to integrate brain-boosting activities and exercise into a daily routine. And since it’s a live workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Dr. Sandison on how to implement it in your own home.

If you’re a caregiver, if you’re worried about your own personal risk, or if you have a genetic marker for Alzheimer’s or dementia, you can’t afford to miss this live workshop… but you MUST register today! Seating for this live workshop will be limited, so don’t hesitate.

Plus, when you register today, you’ll receive Dr. Sandison’s Brain Health Activities Guide, a comprehensive resource that reveals many of the activities and protocols used at Marama to help keep brains sharp, engaged, and resilient against cognitive decline.

Don’t miss out on this golden opportunity to interact with Dr. Sandison and to empower yourself with this life-changing knowledge!

Dear friend,

Do you ever worry about your cognitive health? Or that of a loved one in your care?

No one wants to see their memory or cognitive health on the decline. But for years, we’ve been told it’s inevitable! That it’s just a consequence of old age. Or worse, that there’s nothing that can be done to prevent it, let alone reverse it!

But here’s some food for thought: What if simple lifestyle changes play as big a role in our brain health as the aging process itself? Or even our genetics?

If you’re looking for answers, I have some inspiring news to share with you… Because I see the vital connection between nutrition and cognition every single day in my work at Marama and my clinic, Solcere. Through working with the Bredesen Protocol, I’ve seen so many lives change for the better.

And one of the most crucial parts of the Protocol are the daily activities and exercises, but also a source of frustration for many! How does it help the brain? What exercises are safe and where do you even start at this point in your life? How does everything work together to keep our memories sharp? And of course, how in the world do you manage to stick with the program?

That’s why I hope you’ll join me in my upcoming LIVE Workshop. We’ll dive deep into these questions and my goal is to get you on track to understand how to incorporate activities at home, to protect your memory and even reverse the effects of cognitive decline!

Alzheimer’s is not inevitable. I see it every day in the joy of my patients and the gratitude of their families. And I can’t wait to share this vital information with you and your loved ones on Thursday, January 11.

See you there,

Dr Heather Sandison Signature

Here’s What Dr. Sandison’s Patients are Saying:

“This position of caregiver requires enormous amounts of love. Being a caregiver has changed the relationship for me with my husband because we are no longer peers. It has changed the husband/wife relationship to one that has a different kind of love.”

– Katherine S.

“I’m a nurse and focused on older adults in my capstone paper… Something about this is extremely important to me. This is bigger than my mom alone, this is a humanitarian issue. I love focusing on what will actually get us results.”

– Kathleen R.

“[The workshop] has been a tremendous help to me to organize and pull together all of the components of the Bredesen Protocol. Thanks so much for what you are doing!”

– Lorna

“My wife is now able to do the hand movements [of Kirtan Kriya meditation]. I kept staring at her because her progress is so impressive. It made me want to cry.”

– Lorraine K.

“Fun and recreation has really increased in my life, since I am always looking for activities he will like… Before it was just work, sleep, and vacation/travel with him.”

– Anna & Willie

“One thing I’ve noticed is that I feel better when I’m in ketosis. I have more energy. I have always heard of keto but never actually done it. My challenge is to keep my ApoE3/4 in consideration with the keto diet. My labs have changed significantly with keto and I’m curious to know how it is when I meet with my doctor again!”

– Beth R.

“Showing love to whom you are taking care of is so important. I was so stressed about making my dad follow every step, but when I started showing him affection and love, I noticed a difference that I’m less stressed and feeling more at peace.”

– Julianna B.

Questions You May Have About the Live Workshop

What is the Bredesen Protocol?

The Bredesen Protocol is a multimodal, individualized approach to improve brain health, specifically targeting the factors that contribute to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. The Bredesen Protocol was developed by Dr. Dale Bredesen, who has personally played an integral role in our implementation at Marama and Solcere.

Does the workshop cater to beginners or those already living an active lifestyle?

Absolutely! The workshop aims to provide a deeper understanding of exercise’s connection to cognitive health, benefitting both newcomers and those already maintaining an active lifestyle.

How long is the workshop? Can we ask Dr. Sandison questions?

The workshop duration will last about 45 minutes, and yes, there will be a Q&A session at the end. Dr. Sandison always values engaging and interacting with attendees and answering their questions!

How will I know if this will work or not?

While results may vary, the methodology used both at Marama and in Dr. Sandison’s at-home programs are based on a multimodal approach to care, which includes other aspects such as activities, exercise, supplementation and other individualized therapies. Years of clinical application and published studies by Dr. Bredesen and Dr. Sandison (among others) have documented the benefits of specific lifestyle changes with regard to brain health. However, it is always advised that any individualized care be done under the care of a personal physician.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal for anyone interested in protecting their cognition and memory, preventing the onset of Alzheimer’s or other dementias, and even reversing the effects of some forms of cognitive decline. From caregivers, to family members, or those with their own cognitive concerns, everyone in attendance should come away with a better understanding of brain-boosting activities and exercise, why it works to improve cognition, and how to more easily implement it into their own lifestyle.

What’s included in the Activities for Brain Health Guide?

Dr. Sandison’s latest report offers actionable tips and practices that can help maintain and even improve brain health, complementing the insights from the live workshop.
